Massage has long been a method of comfort and healing for people. It can promote improved blood circulation and lymph circulation throughout the body. Massage helps to relieve stiffness and soreness, and can reduce healing time in injuries. Massage can be used to stimulate or to relax, depending on what is needed. All animals can benefit from massage, so why not your beloved pets?
Massage is not the same as petting, although I highly recommend that you pet your dogs, cats, horses, etc. Massage has specific strokes and methods that can help find areas where your pet may be sore or injured, and help relieve those areas. It soothes nervous, shy, and insecure pets.

I am a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education. I have taught high school for 27 years and coached for 20 years.
Animals have always been an important part of my life, and I've always felt a special connection with them. While sponsoring an Animal Rescue Club at the school where I teach, I became involved with several rescue organizations for dogs and for horses. I ended up adopting horses and several dogs and cats ended up "adopting" me. I decided to find someone to do animal massage when one of my dogs and my oldest horse started showing signs of arthritis. I had a wonderful lady to come to my place and give them massages. I was very impressed with how the animals reacted during the time she was there, but the next day the results were incredible! My 35 year old horse was trotting around the pasture like a young colt, and my dog showed no sign of stiffness or pain. Every time she came out I saw improvement in my animals. When I learned that she was going to move out of state I knew that I wanted to learn how to do animal massage and energy healing. I studying equine massage therapy from the Aspen School of Massage Therapy after that certification I studied and became certified in canine massage therapy from PetMassage. I learned energy work and have Reiki I training.
I love working with all kinds of animals and would love to work with your pet to provide the most pleasant experience possible. I work out of the North Georgia area mostly, but I am willing to travel to nearby states for multiple animals. You are also welcome to bring your pet(s) to me in Jasper, GA.
